Fete

The 2022 Cublington village fete was held at Orchard Ground on June 18th. The fete attracts visitors from all over the county.
A traditional fete this year held a Fun Dog Show which was very well attended. A variety of traditional attractions including a Rodeo Bull, a test of strength High Striker and loads of stalls including Tombola and White Elephant. Refreshments range from a BBQ, a Pimms stall, to a nice cream tea or tea and cake. Visitors can wander round or just sit in the sun (hopefully) and soak up the atmosphere.

Everyone connected with the Fete has a good time, and we do make a profit – approximately £4700 this year – which goes back to the village, helping St Nicholas Church The Village Hall and Orchard Ground facilities.

A small army of volunteers come together to help plan and organise this event, running stalls or generally lifting and moving on the day of the Fete.

If you would like to join in, please contact Gary Brazier or Debbie Knights who can tell you more about plans for 2022!

Next years fete with a Traditional theme is on Saturday June 17th 2023
