Great Kingshill 288 for 6 (nett 252)
Cublington 275 for 11 (nett 209)
Great Kingshill won by 43 runs.
"Great Kingshill won the toss and decided to bat on a remarkably dry wicket given the heavy rain we had only 24 hours earlier. Cublington bowled and fielded very well and restricted Great Kingshill to 251 for 5 with just 4 overs remaining.
However, the last pair for Great Kingshill put on 37 in the last 4 overs. This was mainly due to Callum Mapley who scored 28, including a six of the final ball and left Cublington with a much higher total to chase than expected. When Cublington batted they found it difficult to score against a very good bowling attack and, with runs hard to come by, wickets also fell regularly.
To emphasise the strength of the Great Kingshill bowling and fielding, none of the Cublington batsman managed to reach double figures.
So, for the second season running Cublington lost the play-off final, but all the boys should be proud of their efforts and were unfortunate to come up against a much stronger side on the night."
