Sunday morning was an altogether different affair. With the sun shining, Sam Carter again won the toss for us and this time elected to bowl. Taking seven opposition wickets steadily throughout the innings we restricted visitors Whitchurch to 228 with a good exhibition of controlled bowling and fielding. Our catching was a delight to watch as we comfortably held six; Jack Gill and Jack Ash taking two apiece. Batting was steady rather than spectacular but we comfortably passed the required total despite a wobble in the last few overs; finishing on 244 for 7. Best Bowling - John Rickard 2 maidens, 1 for 0 and Calum Lawson with 2 maidens. Best Batting - Calum Lawson, 9.
